Dialogue Institute of the Southwest of El Paso chapter organized an Interfaith Ramadan Dinner on August 6, 2013. The representatives of the Abrahamic Traditions enjoyed the meal prepared by Turkish families. Guests from different faiths experienced an iftar, breaking of fast in the month of Ramadan where Muslims fast from dawn until dusk. More than 60 persons attended this special dinner. After the meal, speakers from each tradition: Judaism, Christianity and Islam talked about “Fasting”. And a question & answer session took place after the presentations.
