The Institute of Interfaith Dialog in collaboration with Hartford Seminary is offering the ?Global Ethics? course which will take place in Houston from April 8 to 12, 2013.

As the Institute of Interfaith Dialog, we are deeply saddened by the tragic events happened in Newtown, Connecticut and send our condolences to the families of the victims and loved ones. 

 Turkish-Muslim scholar Fethullah Gulen expressed his deep sorrow caused by this tragic incident as follows: 

The Civilizations Choir of Antakya conveyed its message of peace and love for human being through the universal language of music.
Program started with the introduction of Peace Garden project by Mr. Bennett who talks about how this new project of Institute of Interfaith Dialog would serve primarily as a learning center for our ever evolving city of Houston, a landmark for diversity in the U.S.

The Institute of Interfaith Dialog organized an Early Thanksgiving Dinner on November 17, Saturday, 2012. The Institute hosted more than 250 guests from all walks of life including congregation leaders, academics, city officials, neighbors of the Turquoise Center, teachers, students, and members of different faith traditions.
 

The Institute of Interfaith Dialog Luncheon Forum was held in Hilton-Austin on December 4th, 2012. In the program, a keynote by Doğan Koç, Executive Director of Gulen Institute at University of Houston and talked about Strategic Defamation of Fethullah Gülen: English vs. Turkish

 Mustafa Akyol who is the author of Islam without Extremes gave the numerous speech in Oklahoma. He has been Norman First Presbyterian Church, University of Central Oklahoma, University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City University and Oklahoma Christian University. After these lectures he spoke at the Friendship Dinner & Award Ceremony which organized by Institute of Interfaith Dialog Tulsa chapter.

 Islam and democracy can be compatible, according to a Turkish author and political commentator who spoke  Tuesday at the annual Institute of Interfaith Dialog friendship dinner.

On October 18, 2012, The Institute of Interfaith Dialog in conjunction with the UMKC Division of Diversity Access and Equity, Raindrop Turkish House and The Fountain magazine hosted the 9th Annual Dialog and Friendship Dinner in the UMKC campus student union.  Approximately 300 people of diverse nationalities and religious backgrounds gathered in the evening for a shared repast, conversation and presentations intended to further mutual understanding, common values and harmonious interaction among all peoples. (October 18, 2012, Kansas City, MO)
